Heart Pharmacy’s St. Anthony’s Clinic seeks passionate Nurse Manager to join our dedicated Heart at Home team. You’ll work in a nurturing community environment across Greater Victoria. We aim to help people better manage their medications to be their best selves and stay in their homes longer.
Role Summary:
As the Heart at Home Nurse Manager, you’ll lead the growth and day-to-day operations of our program, ensuring clients can remain safely at home for as long as possible. You will oversee care delivery, manage and mentor staff, build partnerships with healthcare providers, and champion initiatives that drive both quality and program expansion.
You’ll Work With:
- Care Coordination: Assess, plan, organize, and evaluate client care, ensuring services meet high safety and quality standards.
- Team Leadership: Supervise nursing and HCA staff, support professional development, and align staffing levels with patient needs and growth goals.
- Growth & Outreach: Build referral relationships with doctors, hospitals, and community partners, and lead events to share the program’s benefits.
- Quality & Risk Management: Promote safety, continuous improvement, and adherence to established guidelines and policies.
What You’ll Bring:
- Education & Licensing: Registered Nurse in good standing with the BCCNM, completion of a recognized RN program.
- Experience: Three years recent related nursing experience, two years in a supervisory role preferred, and one year of relevant clinical experience preferred.
- Skills: Proven leadership and mentorship abilities, strong organizational skills, effective communication and conflict resolution, and comfort with related technology.
- Requirements: Physically able to perform the role, valid BC driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and clean criminal record check.
Compensation
$50.00 - $53.00 per hour
